Thanks for letting us know you like the larger (800x600) size. This month we have that size available for all the wallpapers. Now the question is, does anybody care about 640 x 480 pictures anymore? Perhaps we should drop them and use 800 x 600 as our standard size from now on. Please email any thoughts you have on this.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere we go, though most of this month is pretty local. The first picture, of a Joshua tree at sunset, was taken in a really exotic location -- our back yard, after putting up the holiday decorations in the front.

Here's our first night time picture of Disney's California Adventure. You're looking at Paradise Pier from across the lake. It's lighted for the holdidays, and this was taken just after the LuminAria fireworks/multimedia show which happens on the lake.

This morning it was snowing at our house. Though none of it stuck to the ground, some hills of the Joshua Tree National Park, visible from the front yard, were covered with snow. This being only about the fifth time in my life I've seen it snow, a trip to the National Park was in order. By the time I dropped the grand kids at their respective schools, the snow had stopped falling, but the park sure was pretty. Now if I'd checked the gas gauge BEFORE going there might have been enough pictures for next year. As it is, I'll look forward to another drive.
