We've had some requests for more waterfalls and wild life, so...
This waterfall at the Los Angeles Zoo was pictured before on this page, but now the red Bouganvilla is in bloom.
For wildlife, we have ducks, then for even WILDER LIFE we have a
What? Not hippies? Not even San Francisco!? Ok, we cheated on #3. Instead of West Coast, it's Mid-West, in Martinsville, Illinois. This bus made us THINK we were back in California. We asked the owner, Tom, for permission to take a picture, and found out he's an expert on antique beads. Tom has a fabulous collection from all over the world, and sells his beads from this bus at various festivals. Tom says the paint job helps draw attention. No doubt!
Wild flowers (ok, so maybe they're not wild) satisfies MY request for wallpaper with lots of color.
The "bonus" wallpaper is for Billy and the Hillbillies fans, who know that these musicians rock! To prove it to the world, here's Hillbillies Rock in the Alabama Hills near Lone Pine, California.
The Lone Pine Film Festival is held every year on Columbus Day weekend. Some great guests are scheduled this year, (October 6 - 8, 2000) including Jack Palance and Dale Robertson. However, in this festival the rocks are the real stars. (No, they're not really carved.) For more info or tickets for this great Western event, call 760-876-9103. If you tell them KAT at KATsMeow.com sent you, they'll have ABSOULUTELY NO IDEA WHO YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT! By the way, if you have an RV, the best place to stay is Boulder Creek RV Resort, 760-876-5656. They have the best party at the festival, free for their guests. (No they probably won't remember us either.)
